Forms

Three Forms of Shree Yamunaji:

In pushtimarg, two mothers are popular. One is Shree Yashodaji and the other is Shree Yamunaji. Shree Yamunaji is the mother of all pushti bhaktas. There are three forms of each element in this universe. These three forms are

  1. Adhidaivik: The divine form
  2. Adhyatmik: The divine attributes attached with it.
  3. Adhibhautik: The perceived form

Yamuna has also three forms.

  1. Adhidaivik: She is the Fourth patarani of Shree Krishna in Golokdham. This form always resides with Shree Krishna. The Kalindiji of Dwarkaleela is the part incarnation of adhidaivik form of Shree Yamunaji. The full incarnation of adhidaivik form of Shree Yamunaji is in Vraj, where she is the fourth patarani of Shree Krishna.
  2. Adhyatmik: Shree Yamunaji's nature and importance is, the one who, knowingly or unknowingly takes the divine water of Shree Yamunaji, all his sins gets destroyed, all obstacles coming in the way for Bhagwad seva will get destroyed etc.
  3. Adhibhautik: The River form of Shree Yamunaji that is flowing in Mathura and Shreemad Gokul.
In reality, all these three forms are one and one only. The adhyatmik form resides in the Adhidaivik form and the Adhibhautik form will contain the Adhidaivik and adhyatmik form. Within the adhidaivik form, one form may be a part incarnation or the full incarnation.

kalindi

Lord Sri Krishna went to visit pancha Pandavas in Indraprastapura, when they married Droupadi. Among those five brothers Arjuna was very good friend and admirer of Krishna.Krishna stayed for some days in Indraprastapura, at that time Arjuna and Krishna went for hunting. There they became tired while travelling and went to river Yamunotri to drink water.

There after drinking water they saw one young and beautiful woman roaming alone. Krishna told to Arjuna to enquire who she is? Arjuna went to her and asked who she is? And why she is wandering there alone? That lady was river Yamuna who came as beautiful lady. She told to Arjuna that “ I am daughter of Sun. My name is Kalindi, I reside in the palace given by my father which is in the waters of Yamuna. I am here meditating to marry Lord Krishna”. And she requested Arjuna to help her in marrying Krishna. Kalindi requested Arjuna instead directly talking to Krishna because if she asks Krishna he may reject but when his loved worshiper like Arjuna asks he cannot reject. Arjuna went to Krishna and conveyed the message told by her. Then Krishna agreed to marry her and asked her to get into the chariot. Then after some days when Krishna went to Dwaraka from Indraprasta puram he married Kalindi, she was his fourth wife. The sons of Kalindi were Sruthudu, Kavi, Vrushudu, Veerudu, Subhahudu, Bhadrudu, Shanti, Dharsudu, Poornamaasudu and Somakudu.
